Hello new friends!
I join this project on the recommendation from a friend and fellow-participant, Natalie, to be more intentional about what I am reading. I have some lists of books I want to read, which are mostly taken from a few sources: 100 Books Everyone Should Read (Harvard, circa 2002), all Barnes & Noble deemed Classics (list also from 2002), Modern Literature/Classics in the Making Must-Reads(2009), and a couple of other lists that all are combined on one master list. I have been working on these lists for a while but often go off on a tangent with books accumulated at book sales or those others force me to borrow. So this year will be more of an effort to get back to The List that stares me down. I am sure I will need some guilty pleasures, fiction, and light reading thrown in as a few of these books are heady or ultra-serious, but I will aim to read just one of those for every 3 on The List.
I keep a running public list on weRead. I also read a few books at a time so there may be a lag between posts and then multiple posts all at once. Apologies now.

Sure. And you can post on people’s stuff. Have a general chat about books. I view it as a book club sort of or reading support group haha
