I was introduced to Douglas Coupland with Generation X back in college and since then have read about every other book Coupland has written. I loved Coupland’s satire. And in each of his books, he always had beautiful touching scenes set against sometimes the harshest points of our reality. Generation A did not disappoint, though I was worried at first since I didn’t like any of the characters initially. The title comes from a speech Kurt Vonnegut gave, and this book is reminicient of himself, and Huxley’s Brave New World. And the short stories scattered throughout were the best.
